Hammontree Family Detail Bays\n• Experience Hoods Up!\n• And so much more! \nThis program is designed as an opportunity for Scouts to learn\, observe\, and work through Automotive Maintenance requirements in an engaging and memorable environment. In conjunction with the highly acclaimed Ferrari in America exhibition\, join us for an evening discussion centered around the iconic brand’s impact on American car culture. Led by automotive historian and exhibit co-curator\, Ken Gross will serve at moderator for a panel of Ferrari aficionados featuring Luigi Chinetti\, Jr.\, Dennis Garrity\, and Judson Dayton. Luigi will speak on his father’s legacy as a renowned racer and businessman and how that led to his partnership with Enzo Ferrari as the exclusive importer of the brand into America and ultimately the formation of the North American Racing Team. Dennis and Judson will provide their insights as avid collectors and advocates of the brand by being lenders of multiple cars featured in the exhibition. This Ferrari-themed Tireside Chat is set to explore the journey of Italy’s “Prancing Horse” into the American market. \nA separate ticketed reception will be held prior to the program beginning at 5:30 pm. If you are unable to attend on July 18\, please contact the museum’s front desk at 770.416.1500 to inquire about a refund. \nJoin Wayne Carini—television personality and owner of F40 Motorsports—and Aaron Shelby\, grandson of Carroll Shelby and member of the Board of Directors of Carroll Shelby International\, for an engaging conversation on the Shelby name’s lasting impact on car culture\, the importance of preserving its legacy\, and the future of performance vehicles. \nThe evening begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m.\, followed by the program at 7:00 p.m.This is a ticketed event. \nPurchase tickets. \n \nAbout Aaron Shelby \nAaron Shelby was born and raised in Dallas\, Texas\, and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1990. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Santa Clara University in 1994. Aaron has been married to his wife\, Brooke\, for more than 25 years\, and they have two sons\, Pierce (21) and Larsen (19). Aaron currently serves as DFW Area President at Prosperity Bank\, where he oversees the bank’s mortgage operations and leads a commercial lending group across the Dallas–Fort Worth market. In addition to his banking career\, Aaron manages the Shelby family’s timber business in East Texas\, JFS Timber Partners. In April 2016\, Aaron was named to the Board of Carroll Shelby International\, the umbrella organization for the Shelby entities. In this role\, he serves as a brand ambassador for Shelby and helps maintain the organization’s long-standing relationship with Ford Motor Company. Aaron is actively involved in philanthropy and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Carroll Shelby Foundation. His previous charitable work includes involvement with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and the Dallas Children’s Theater. \n  \n  \n  \n
