On July 11, our newest temporary exhibit, Factory Drag Cars, opens. In the 1960s, the National Hot Rod Association offered a competition drag-racing category called Factory Experimental, allowing stock automobiles that use each manufacturer’s optional equipment. On August 1, our newest temporary exhibit, Forged by Fuller, opens. Bryan Fuller is a master builder, designer, TV personality, author, and owner of Fuller Moto. A collaborative exhibit with Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, TN, showcasing the storied marque of Tatra – a Czech vehicle manufacturer founded in 1850. On November 7, our newest temporary exhibit, GM Designer Art/Cars, opens. Wayne Kady began his career as an automobile designer in 1961 and spent 38 years designing for Cadillac and Buick before retiring in 1999.
