The Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, GA is quickly gaining a reputation among car enthusiasts and collectors since opening its doors just over 16 months ago. One of the Savoy’s newest temporary exhibits is 75 Years of Porsche, which celebrates the evolution of the brand and runs through July 30. The exhibit features some of the most significant and iconic Porsche models, including the 1955 Porsche 356 Continental and a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder on loan from the Ingram Collection, Durham, NC. Other notable models on display include 1963 Porsche 901 Prototype on loan from Don and Diane Meluzio, York, PA; a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS on loan from Steven Harris, New York, NY; and the 1987 Porsche 959 on loan from the Mauzy Family & 1thirtyone Motorcars, Fort Worth, TX. 75 Years of Porsche is guest curated by Ken Gross and is supported in part by Charles Schwab Kennesaw/The Pefferly Family.
