The non-circulating Reference Library and Archives hold materials supporting the museum’s collections and exhibitions relating to the mission to connect people to the cultural diversity of the automobile.

Library & Archive Hours

The Research Library and Archives are available to all museum visitors by appointment only Tuesday through Friday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. Please note, a library appointment does not include admission to the museum. For more information, call 770.416.1500 or email curatorial@savoymuseum.org.

General & Special Book Collections

The growing Research Library and Archives has over 1400 books dedicated to the cultural diversity of the automobile. Our goal is to make automotive research readily available to our community and staff.

Periodicals Collection

The library subscribes to many automotive publications for browsing and research. Please see the library staff for assistance in using the periodical collection. Prewar Auto Notes, Ragtops & Running boards, RM Auctions, Rodder’s Journal, Skinned Knuckles, Sports & Exotic Car, The Supercharger, Torque Tune II, Turning Wheels, Vintage Chevrolet Club of America, Woodie Times, and Worldwide Auctioneers.

Donate to the Library & Archives

Our non-circulating Research Library and Archives accept new and gently used items, including automotive-related books, magazines, newsletters, periodicals, historical documents, programs, catalogs, manuals, and literature.
