The Connection Car Show is an open-class event and the museum’s largest annual fundraiser, providing funds for the growth of the permanent collection, exhibitions, and educational programs. It serves as a platform to unite a diverse community of car enthusiasts and intrigued spectators. An array of cars from different makes, models, and eras ignites an atmosphere of shared passion and appreciation. This year’s event will include 350 spots for show cars. Show Car Registration – Sold Out!
All vehicles must be pre-registered. Registration opens to members on July 1, 2026, and to the general public on July 15, 2026. It will close on August 28, 2026, or as soon as the available spots are filled. All sales are final. This is a rain-or-shine event. Sorry, but motorcycles cannot be registered for the show.
- Legacy Members – Complimentary – Includes general admission tickets to the museum for two cardholders, up to four youths, and two guests.
- Individual Membership – $15 – Includes one general admission for the named cardholder.
- Individual Plus One Membership – $15 – Includes general admission for two named cardholders or the named cardholder and one guest.
- Family Membership – $15 – Includes general admission for two named cardholders and up to four youths.
- Friend Membership– $15 – Includes general admission for two named cardholders, up to four youths, and two guests.
- Patron Membership – $15 – Includes general admission for two named cardholders, up to four youths, and two guests.
- General Public – $30 – Allows one vehicle registration. Includes one general admission per vehicle.

Make it a weekend and join us for our car cruise.

We are pleased to announce that our Annual Car Cruise held in conjunction with our largest annual car show fundraiser, THE CONNECTION 2026, will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026.
We will embark on a 98.5-mile trek through northwest Georgia, departing from Savoy Automobile Museum and arriving at the International Towing Museum, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the birthplace of the United States towing industry. Enjoy a day full of fun, food, and fellowship beginning with breakfast at the museum, a scenic drive, and time at one of America’s most unique museums.
The Connection 2026 Car Cruise registration is limited to the first 50 vehicles.
Registration Rates:
- Legacy Level Member = $50 per person
- Savoy Museum Member = $75 per person
- General Public = $100 per person
Registration Includes:
- Breakfast at check-in
- Chicken and Sausage biscuits, fruit cup, coffee, soda, and water in The Pavilion.
- Admission and tour of The International Towing Museum.
- A commemorative T-shirt celebrating the ride.
Car Cruise Schedule:
- 6:30 am: Gates open at Savoy; check-in begins; breakfast served
- 8:00 am: Depart Savoy Automobile Museum
- 10:00 am: Arrive at International Towing Museum; tour, explore, shop
- Leave at your leisure

The day of the car show
Schedule of Events
9:00 am – The Showgrounds and museum open.
10:00 am – All registered vehicles must be on the showgrounds.
11:00 am – The Savoy Cafe opens for lunch. Food trucks begin serving.
2:00 pm – Voting and raffle end.
3:00 pm – The car show ends, and the Awards Ceremony begins.
3:00 pm – The raffle winner is announced.
3:30 pm – The Showgrounds close.
5:00 pm – The museum closes.

Museum Exhibits

The museum will be open from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Showgrounds
The Connection Car Show is a fun event that brings together a variety of vehicles from across the community, representing a range of makes, models, and eras. In addition to individually registered show cars, several invited car clubs will be displaying up to two vehicles from their membership, providing guests even more cars to enjoy. Please note that all vehicles must be pre-registered to participate, and motorcycles are not permitted.

Awards
Show car participants will have the opportunity to take home one of this year’s awards. The Savoy’s Choice Award, will be presented to one outstanding vehicle, with the winner receiving a stunning crystal trophy. In addition, guests will cast their votes for 20 People’s Choice Awards, with each winner taking home an attractive, insulated cooler. Be sure to stay through the awards ceremony—show car participants must be present to win.


Kids Activities
Calling all young car enthusiasts! Kids aged 12 and under are invited to dive into the excitement.
ACME Build a Model Car – Children’s “Make & Take” supplied by Atlanta Car Model Enthusiasts (ACME).
Back again this year, ACME will include a “Make & Take” event for children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, at no cost! ACME strives to introduce children to the model car hobby by providing an opportunity for parents and children to interact in a “hands-on” activity, resulting in the child having a snap-together model they can proudly display and/or play with. Limited supplies.
Cut-Outs – Take a photo with one of our fun cut-outs.
In addition, Coosa Valley Credit Union, will be onsite with their digital display truck allowing a gaming opportunity for the kiddos and the kids at heart.

Food and Beverages
Lunch will begin at 11:00 am in the Savoy Café.
Adult Beverages – Adult beverages will be available at the beverage tent and at the Savoy Café.
Non-alcoholic Beverages – Non-alcoholic drinks are available in the Savoy Café, at the food trucks, and at the beverage tent.

Raffle
Raffle tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be available to purchase at the event. The tickets will be priced at 1 ticket for a $1, 6 tickets for $5, 12 tickets for $10, and 25 tickets for $20. You must be 18 years or older to purchase raffle tickets.
The drawing will be at 3:00 pm. You must be present to win.

Automotive Book and Prop Sale
Car enthusiasts and collectors won’t want to miss this! Take home automotive books or authentic display props from some of Savoy’s past exhibits. It is a great chance to add to your collection or to begin building one.

Pop-Up Store
Our outdoor pop-up store at the guest services (information) tent will feature our commemorative t-shirt (limited number). Other merchandise including apparel, drinkware, and car-themed gifts will be available at the Savoy Store, inside the museum.
