The human need for music is undeniably strong. People have had the desire to cruise to music since the early 1900s, with the introduction of telegraphs, record players, tape decks, CD players, and radios. You may even find yourself enjoying a song while picking up speed. There have been many songs featuring specific cars and engines that have made cars cultural icons due to the popularity of the music. This exhibit celebrates select cars from the 1950s and 1960s that are forever linked to the music that topped the charts during that era. The exhibit will be on display from January 13, 2026 – May 3, 2026
