Can you build a fast car for under $2000? The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack proves you can. But can you build a museum-quality piece for that amount, too?

Apparently so, as Wreck Racing’s 2001 Chevrolet S-10, which finished second in the 2022 Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge, will be on display at the Savoy Automobile Museum.

The S-10 will be part of a special exhibit featuring vehicles built by the Georgia Tech Student Competition Center.

Vehicles included:

  • 2001 Chevrolet S-10 Xtreme
  • 2012 Solar Racing SJ-1
  • 2022 FSAE GTMS 70
  • 2022 HyTech Racing FSAE EV HT06
  • 2022 Off-Road OR-7 Resilience

The exhibit runs through August 27, 2023.
