Join us on December 9, 2025, for the opening of our newest temporary exhibit, Ferrari in America.
When some folks hear the name Ferrari, they think of Italy. However, the brand has been a favorite in America for decades. Since Luigi Chinetti imported a 166 Ferrari Spider Corsa in 1954, Americans have loved these masterpieces of automotive craftsmanship. Working as a test driver for Alfa Romeo, Enzo Ferrari used Scuderia Ferrari as an experimental lab for his ideas and innovations. When the two parted ways, Ferrari established his own company in Modena. A commission to build two race cars in 1939 started the company on its way to automotive greatness. Although the company had its struggles financially which resulted in acquisition by Fiat in 1969, it became a standalone company once again in 2016. This exhibition features Ferrari automobiles throughout the decades.
The exhibit will be on display on December 9, 2025 – March 29, 2026.
