Introduced on October 1, 1908, and built through May 27, 1927, Ford Motor Company’s Model T was the vehicle that put the world on wheels. Not only did it transform automobile ownership, but its unique versatility provided an opportunity for creative technology through innovation. In the early parts of the twentieth century, a nation of farmers needed pickup trucks and tractors. Businesses needed commercial vehicles to move goods. When snow fell, a snowmobile was the answer. In case of a fire, a fire truck would deliver firefighters and supplies in a timely manner. INNOVATION to a T showcases how out-of-the-box thinking, combined with solid engineering, made Henry Ford’s Model T a solution for tough problems.
