Join us for the opening of our newest temporary exhibit, Rad Cars of Savoy. RADwood is an event movement in the automotive hobby world devoted to celebrating the 80s and 90s automotive lifestyle. The name RADwood, was coined by co-founder and COO Warren Madsen, and it is a take-off on The Goodwood Revival. The term “radical” was adopted by users in the 70s, which meant “at the limits of control”. During the 80s, the term was shortened to “rad” and was used for “cool” or “awesome”. This exhibition showcases vehicles from the Savoy Collection that were built in the 80s and 90s.
The exhibit will be open May 7 – August 25, 2024.
