Coming Soon: The Savoy Automobile Museum

A World-Class Venue for Automotive Exhibitions

By J.W. Southwick, Director of Marketing & Social Media, MAADA

If you’re an automotive enthusiast who has spent weekends wandering North Georgia’s car show scene, you’re well aware of the right diversity of amazing vehicles that make their home here in our state. From custom hot rods to concours quality sports cars, there’s no shortage of automotive art for enthusiasts to enjoy.

What Georgia has lacked is a dedicated top-notch venue to showcase these amazing machines. But that’s about to change very soon. Rising up from the landscape in Cartersville is an automotive showcase that aims to rival the likes of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles and the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. This isn’t a randomly selected, repurposed building that we’re talking about. This is truly going to be something special.

The Savoy Automobile Museum, slated to open in the Fall, will offer visitors a chance to see vehicles that span the automotive timeline in a world-class venue. It features cutting-edge architecture and over 65,000 square feet of exhibit space, which includes four galleries, a presentation theater, on-site café, and an outdoor pavilion for a wide range of special automotive events. There’s also an adjacent exhibit preparation and storage facility that encompasses over 35,000 square feet.
