In 2005, this Buick Model 67 was found abandoned and unrestored at a Connecticut machine shop warehouse. In June of that same year, Chuck and Dianne Nixon purchased the old Buick and agreed to have Academy Classics fully restore the vehicle. Chuck stated that if anyone wishes to learn how to spend their retirement account in 3.5 years, he’s the man to speak with. This Buick has many elegant features, setting it apart from its competitors.

Unique items include the windshield that opens up one inch for air circulation, an elegant velour interior with a footrest, and the warming blanket hanging rod for rear passengers. All four wheels of the Buick Model 67 were equipped with mechanical brakes. It featured adjustable shock absorbers, Wizard Control freewheeling, and offered a choice between painted wire wheels or twelve wood spoke wheels with demountable rims, making it a standout vehicle.
