T J Tscharnz purchased this car during his senior year in high school. His automotive career began working at a local speed shop in the Long Island, NY area. While there, TJ’s passion for creating performance cars and racing blossomed. To hone his driving skills, TJ attended the Skip Barber Racing School in Sebring, FL. Eventually, he relocated to Melbourne, FL where he opened his own shop specializing in installation and dyno tuning.
This car has been heavily modified from its stock condition for racing. The transmission is a T-5 with a Steeda short-throw shifter. Corbeau seats with five-point belts and a roll bar help keep the driver safe. Cobra brakes, Steeda performance springs, and Steeda rear control arms are some of the unseen equipment essential for racing. The car has been raced at Sebring International Raceway, Daytona International Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway, and Barber Motorsports Park.
